Insomniac Games confirms Spider-Man 3 with a trailer showcasing a larger New York and Anti-Venom as the main villain.
Insomniac Games officially unveiled Marvel's Spider-Man 3 at the PlayStation Showcase, confirming a Holiday 2025 release window. The debut trailer revealed a reimagined New York City that is twice the size of the previous game's map, with a living, breathing environment that changes visually across different seasons.
Anti-Venom has been confirmed as the primary villain, presented as a more menacing and visually striking threat than anything seen previously in the series. Both Peter Parker and Miles Morales return as playable protagonists, and for the first time in the franchise, the game will support two-player online co-op.
A dedicated PS5 Pro Mode has been confirmed, targeting 4K Native at 60fps with full Ray Tracing enabled. Sony has confirmed that Spider-Man 3 will remain a PS5 console exclusive for at least the first year following launch, with no word yet on a PC release timeline.
