Microsoft announces 50 million Game Pass subscribers, adding new AAA titles including Halo 7 and Forza Horizon 6.

Microsoft has announced that Xbox Game Pass has surpassed 50 million subscribers globally, up from 34 million at the start of the year. This accelerated growth is attributed to the consistent delivery of first-party AAA titles on day one and the integration of PC and console access under a single subscription tier.

This month's additions include 20 new games, headlined by Halo 7 available on launch day and Forza Horizon 6 set in Brazil. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the recent Game of the Year winner, has also been added to the catalogue, giving subscribers immediate access to some of the biggest releases of the past year.

Microsoft also announced a new Game Pass Family Plan supporting up to five household members at a discounted rate, alongside the global rollout of 4K 60fps Cloud Gaming. These moves reinforce Game Pass's position as the most cost-effective gaming subscription service currently available.
